The Moose Jaw Christian Counselling Centre opened its doors on May 1,1987 through the dedicated efforts of a Board of Directors that was representative of a cross-section of churches in Moose Jaw
and area.
Since its opening, the Centre has been governed by the Board of Directors with the day to day operations run by an executive-director/counselor. During this short time in operation, the Centre has
grown in the credibility it has received both in the church as well as in the larger community. Also, in this short time the Centre has relocated into larger and more adequate facilities.
The Moose Jaw Christian Counselling Centre is dedicated to enhancing the spiritual, emotional and physical well-being of those people seeking help. The staff is committed to help people in their
search for meaning in life. Proven counselling skills are combined with sound scriptural values in the counselling provided.
The need for services provided by the Centre seems to be increasing. This is reflective of our society that appears to be moving ever farther away from the principles of effective living set out by
our great God. As the needs have increased so have the number of clients seeking the services of the MJCCC.
The MJCCC relies heavily on the generous donations of individuals, churches and businesses. Although clients are required to pay a fee for services, the fees charged do not cover the cost of
operating the Centre. Without the continued support of generous individuals the Centre could not remain open. It is the intention of the Board to broaden the base of support in order to strengthen
our Centre. If you believe that the MJCCC provides a ministry that is needed in our community then you are invited to support the Centre as you are able. All monetary donations are tax
deductible.
